Mt Cook and a Starry-starry night

A quick shufty at the Clay Cliffs at Omerama then on towards Lakes Pukaki/Tekapo. The most spectacular views of this range bar none….

After visiting the Observatory on Mt Cook I decided an overnight in remotest remote-land, may prove lucky for my last attempt at a NZ starscape. The skies cleared at 10pm and the minus nine night sky revealed itself. Ta. Job Done NZ.

    1. Thanks hon. Got lucky that night with the conditions, cloudy day then crystal skies after sunset, but after 11 pm it all clouded over again. It was one of the (type of) shots i really wanted to take….
