BatdamBANG – Buddhists, Balloons, Bottles and more

A few hours south of Siem Reap on the bus is Batdambang. An amazing night market is on when I arrive which is all linked to the upcoming Water Festival….Some superb eating to be done his evening!

DAY 1
Serenity at a Buddhist Temple, kids larking about in the canal and more market shenanigans. A random tyres in the grass moment and I think I’ve got the killer petrol-bottle-stop shot. Get in!

DAY 2
A trip to a local fishing village was brilliant, with one little girl with the most incredible eyes that I just had to get a decent shot of. the other kids were brilliant fun, waiting for the petrol to arrive and then we set off back down the river. The rains at the night market meant lots of fun there and one family, all in purple rainmacs, were right up for a photo opportunity, much to my pleasant surprise….

DAY 3
A quick morning tour around a slum area, another market and local village, saw some more fishermen, clear skies and a local cock-fighter having a good kip!
The bus to Laos is waiting!
