I’ve arrived and been settling in for the last few days. Nick’s birthday saw a great family get-together at Stef’s house in Launceston. Some trips and some acclimatisation have meant I’ve been in and around Devonport, up to the Table Cape and that’s about it. Here’s a sampler, when the weather has allowed. It’s colder here than I expected as we’re heading into winter. The landscape is fabulous and incredibly open and the light is so different from the UK, with dry air and the thinner atmosphere. I’m thoroughly enjoying it and next week I’m being lent a car (thanks Megan) and then, in a weeks time will see Stef’s Giant Trance in my grasp, so hoping to get plenty of time out on that.
